Provincial Art Procurment
The deadline for the next Provincial Art Procurement is January 21, 2006. The Rooms will be handling it. Don't pass it up! Follow the link below for application details:http://www.therooms.ca/artgallery/appnl_2005.asp
Arts and Letters
Arts and Letters deadline for next year is January 20, 2006. Works must be framed for this as well, I believe. See www.gov.nl.ca/artsandletters for more info.

My New Painting
Finally got around to finishing a painting. It took me a while to get an image in mind that I actually wanted to see to fruition. Not quite sure I'm finished yet, I feel like I want to add something else, another element. EDIT: I've taken the picture down for the moment just because Corey mentioned that I might not be able to enter it in the Arts and Letters competition if it's been shown publically. Once I get a response from the co-ordinator I'll put it back up :)

Orange Lodge
I've been at St. Michael's Printshop for two weeks now and this is what I've managed to crank out so far. The first in a series of "yesterday/today" Bell Island prints. A little depressing, but that's how she goes. Again, I'll let you figure out which is which. It's also my first attempt at a spraypaint aquatint, and I'm happy with how it turned out. No rosin box at St. Mike's. Comments welcome!

Pin-In Gallery
Hey, it's been a while since the last post...
Anyway, here's my submission for Eastern Edge's Pin-In Gallery -- my tribute to old-timey slang. It will be on display just outside the gallery in January, I think. If selected, you get $50 and ten pins; more buttons will be sold at the gallery. E-mail your submissions to Michelle (egallery@nfld.net).
