The 2007 Art Procurement deadline has been extended to January 22nd, so here's your chance if you didn't submit something last week. And this year you only have to submit slides or a CD instead of the actual work, in case that was holding you back.
Also, here's a competition I heard about on WAM yesterday: The Commonwealth Arts and Crafts Awards:
The prize is a grant of up to £8,000 to travel and study in another Commonwealth country. And there are 10 winners, so I guess chances are pretty decent. Have a look at the website. Deadline isn't until May 1st. Seems like a good opportunity to get away for a while. Far away.
And if you're looking for other places to apply or for similar competitions, Akimbo.biz and the Craft Council website are two that I check periodically (linked on the right there). If you guys know of any other good sites, please post them here. Cheers!

Thanks for the update, Jennifer! I have a question... the blog was changed a little lately. It doesn't seem like we are all listed as authors anymore. How will we post?
That's only because they've switched over to some Google thing... you can still post! The next time you sign in to post at Blogger.com, you'll be asked to use a Google account instead. Nothing else has changed.
