A seedling


Nothing too exciting, but here's my new painting in the early stages. Looks a bit orange-y here on the computer. Up next is a D&D painting.

Hey Jen, your new paintings are lookin' great! Do you mark out the shapes in one colour first, and then add the individual colours? Also, are these oil paintings?

Well, first I paint a flat colour in acrylic (the pinkish colour here). Then after projecting my image, I start painting in oil (the yellow now), because I like the way the oil looks when it's dried better than acrylic. So next I'll do the lines and then add a couple more layers so the colours are more solid.
