John Smith Lives!

My old fellow pope-employee Aaron Goulding and I have been cooking up this brand new webcomic. We have big plans and hope to update it every Monday morning. I've got 8 drawn up already so hopefully I'll stay ahead with it. Check out our experiment at

Paul - this sounds like a really exciting project! I'm so glad we'll be able to see some of your work on a weekly basis. I hope it gets lots of attention. Looking forward to future episodes.

Bahaha. Man I say "google it" so much to my students that cona could basically replace me with a sign in a bucket of sand.

I really like the drawings. Are you using a brush?

Thanks for lookin guyssss
Yeah Google is everywhere and everything... and dave i think that sign in a bucket thing could easily work its way into the strip

These strips have been inked with my new favorite weapon, the brush-pen! These things kick ass and you can get them everywhere in Japan for cheap.

Lookin' good. I also quite like the quality of line. I look forward to checking this one out every week. About the name googling thing... I have seen on some people's blogs lists of funny sentences with their name in it (usually first names only, I think) that they found while googling. Some of the things that you end up with are mind boggling. You should work out some kind of deal with Google to feature your comic.

P.S. Please send Dave a brush pen. He's losing sleep.
